The "Centre de l'émeu de Charlevoix" welcomed his first livestock of emus in September 1997 and, to this day, this livestock exceeds more that 400 animals of all ages. It is located in Saint-Urbain, in the beautiful Charlevoix region, along route 381, 4 km (2.5 mi) away from route 138.

The "Centre de l'émeu de Charlevoix" also dedicates itself in the development and marketing of the emu by-products. Presently, you can find more than 30 meat produce and twelve or so cosmetic products. These cosmetics are available individually and in a wide variety of gift boxes.

The"Centre de l'émeu de Charlevoix" is an agricultural production center specialized in Emu as well as an Emu by-products distribution and valorization center. Its goal is to develop a high-quality “Charlevoix Emu” product, to implant a strong Emu industry in Quebec with local partners and to subsequently expand its business in other canadian provinces.
