agrotourism
Agrotourism is taking an increasing place within the company.

Since it specializes in the emu, the Centre de l'émeu de Charlevoix has qualified as a «discovery farm» an it teaches its customers about the fascinating world of the ratites, those birds that run but can't fly.

emu albinos from the emu center
To offer a better understanding of the emu, the Centre de l'émeu de Charlevoix has introduced in 1998 some guided tours. The guided tour of the St-Urbain' s farm allows for people of all ages to learn about the emu's habitat and way of life, to differentiate different types of ratites from one another, and to learn about their increasing marketing value.

In 2004, more than 3000 people of all ages and from everywhere took the guided tour of the farm.

Five guides are waiting to make you discover the wonderful world of emu.
